      The Sun Demon kills one officer and then heads up a massive gas storage tank, with a second officer (played by costume-maker Richard Cassarino) hot on his heels. Ann, Dr. Bucknell and Dr. Hoffman have arrived on the scene, and watch the drama unfolding high above them. The final scenes are very well-filmed, and the stark appearance of the winding stairs and harsh metal framework of the giant tank work to create a very effective setting for the climax, as the Sun Demon and police officer wrestle atop the storage tank. The officer fires his gun, the Sun Demon is shot, and he topples from the tank to the pavement below, as Gil's friends look on in horror. The End.
